Message Even the bearings which are a softer metal were treated with no change in dimensions. Everything was double checked.

As far as polishing goes, why in the world would you polish after the treatment when the WPC treatment is meant to be the last thing done? It reduces friction...that's one of the main purposes of doing it.

That's great that Sunny Bryant cranks break occasionally. Everything can break occasionally, but that's why you try everything possible to reduce friction and increase strength.

As far as having a heat dissipating coating done to the crank, I'll pass. Doing that as well as an oil sheeting coating crossed my mind at one time (Both offered at Swain). Castillo has done enough custom work to this crank and there are enough treatments and time put into this crank that I don't feel anything else is necessary unless either Mike Smith or Don says differently.

Thanks,
Mike
